What is CAAWT Membership?
CAAWT Membership is an online constructional community where members support each other to think, plan, design, implement, and revise constructional programs to solve various behavioral challenges, improve our relationships with animals and animal welfare. During the open houses and lab meetings, members share their training project, plan, and training videos to get feedback from Sean, Maasa, and the members to achieve meaningful goals.

Following our recent professional workshop tour in Denmark and Norway, we are thrilled to announce that the CAAWT Membership is officially expanding its reach.
Starting May 27th, we are adding new meeting session slots specifically timed for the European and Scandinavian communities:

Welcome to your ultimate community space! The Open House is a beautifully casual, safe, and supportive environment where members come to consult directly with Sean and Maasa, learn alongside passionate peers, and support each other's journeys.

If you can't make it live, every session is recorded and added to our private library so you can learn at your own pace.

Behavior science is beautifully dynamic—procedures evolve, technology advances, and there is always something new to discover. The CAAWT Lab operates like an immersive university research lab, offering a more structured, deep-dive environment than the Open House.
This is your dedicated space to dream big, collaborate with passionate peers, and build highly individualized constructional programs. As a Premium Member, you can present your ongoing behavioral projects, request deep dives into specific advanced topics, or even book a live training and coaching session to get direct, real-time guidance from Sean and Maasa with your animal companions or clients!

CAAWT Membership Rule – Be Constructional!

This online constructional community is a place where everyone supports one another to apply the Constructional Approach and continue refining our knowledge and skills to improve the lives of animals.

What do we mean by taking a Constructional Approach? The Constructional Approach (Goldiamond, 1974) focuses on establishing desirable behaviors rather than eliminating undesirable behaviors. Within this community, we want to remember to be Constructional with our training and interactions with each other. When giving feedback, focus on desirable behaviors. For example, when looking at a project or training video from another member, describe what is well done to reinforce good behavior, and we can provide tips for success on areas that can be improved.
